The witness of quality and luxury — Shanghai OCT Suhe Creek Project
On 19th, April, Shanghai OCT (Overseas Chinese Town) Suhe Creek sold out one house in No. 11 Building, with the unit price up to RMB 345,000 per square meter, which set the most expensive unit price record among all Shanghai new houses. These terraced houses developed in OCT covered a total area of 700㎡and cost totally RMB 242 million.
RMB 345,000/㎡is really an eye-opening figure! Just for kitchen equipments, it cost nearly RMB 500,000!
The whole project was planned and designed by Foter + Partner, a world’s top architectural design team. It was built around Central Park (the 3rd housing block) and expanded along its east and west sides. In addition, both cultural and waterfront landscape axis were designed in the residence area to give a harmonious combination of dynamic artistic, fashionable commercial area and static urban public space; also, the cut-through routing among the three interfaces of underground, ground surface as well as the spatial corridor managed to make living and entertainment, commerce and community culture, art and fashion all integrate smoothly into each other. It is a new global fashion center, a cultural landmark in Shanghai.
Early on 8th, May last year, as the international property “Oskar” awards, 2015 Asia Pacific Property Awards were officially nominated and announced in Malaysia after 58 professional judges’ strict review and accreditation for months. The OCT Suhe Creek honorably won two awards in this event: Highly Commended Apartment & Highly Commended Residential Renovation/Redevelopment.
Another stunning part in this project is the globally fourth “Bvlgari” brought in, which is a ten-storey luxurious hotel on T1 building. “Bvlgari” has been all the time a synonym for luxury. The distinguished quality, novel appearance as well as elegant style of “Bvlgari” jewelries have always been leading the new tide of world articles of luxury. “Bvlgari”hotel inherits the “luxury & dignity”tradition of “Bvlgari” jewelries, and has highly strict location selection standard, only can be set up in worldly metropolis center. For this reason, up to now there are only three “Bvlgari” hotels across the world.
The project leader pointed out that, “The bringing-in of Bvlgari Hotel undoubtedly improves the living quality of the whole residence area greatly.” Bvlgari not only presents the luxurious temperament, but also conveys an absolutely elegant living pattern. No matter the exquisite artistic design, or the thoughtful service experience, they all reflect the peculiar high-class life style of the well-heeled.
For this OCT project, NorthGlass had provided tempered glass up to 30,000 ㎡from its shanghai production base for the whole building façade and currently keep supplying tempering glass for interior use.
In order to see Shanghai landmark view at most, this time Shanghai NorthGlass successfully produced insulated glass with “8mm super clear tempered glass+1.52 PVB+8mm super clear double-Ag Low-E coated glass+12A+8mm super clear tempered glass”for the building façade, 8.66m-high jumbo-size insulated glass for Bvlgari hall as well as super clear Low-E coated glass for French windows of the top houses, enabling people living there to have a commanding view of Lujiazui, the double skylines of Shanghai Bund, Huangpu River as well as Suhe Creek. The whole design gives people a magnificent space esthetic sense and a feeling of “metropolis”modest luxury.
