Recently, the winning list of the first "Zero Carbon Zhongyuan Cup" Henan Province Green Manufacturing Technology Application Innovation Competition was released. Luoyang North Glass Light-Stone New Materials Co., Ltd. won the first prize for its "Silicon based Solid Waste Lightweight Microcrystal Stone Project".

This competition was recommended by local and municipal industrial and information departments, industry associations, third-party service institutions, and evaluated by experts on-site. Finally, 4 first prizes, 7 second prizes, 15 third prizes, and 21 excellent awards were selected, including 7 innovative achievements in green manufacturing in Luoyang. North Glass Light-Stone is the only one first prize winner in Luoyang.

The "Silicon based Solid Waste Lightweight Microcrystal Stone Project" is a new eco-friendly building material demonstration project incubated by North Glass Light-Stone at a cost of hundreds of millions of yuan. The project adopts interdisciplinary and multi process cross-border new technologies such as North Glass Light-Stone's "decorative integrated functional gradient material one-time forming" process technology, "multi-layer roller electric heating crystallization furnace" production equipment, and "wall material+section steel integration" technology.

This project uses silicon-based solid waste as the main raw material to complete the production of lightweight microcrystal stone wall materials, achieving full closed-loop regeneration and utilization of silicon-based solid waste. The pure electric heating crystallization production line does not generate combustion flue gas. Compared with traditional gas kilns, the unit energy consumption of the product is reduced by more than 60%, and the energy cost is reduced by more than 20%. At the same time, the wastewater generated during the product production process can be recycled after being purified by a sedimentation tank, and the waste residue can be recycled, basically achieving an eco-friendly production mode of zero discharge of "wastewater, waste residue, and exhaust gas".

The produced lightweight microcrystal stone integrates the microcrystalline decorative layer and honeycomb shaped foam layer through high-temperature sintering, giving it multifunctional integration characteristics such as lightweight and high strength, insulation and noise reduction, fire resistance and flame retarding, decorative material integration, stability and weather resistance, and green environmental protection. It can be used as a separate material for building walls or integrated into modular exterior wall components in the factory. It is directly installed in the frame like glass and is a companion with glass; Light-Stone can also be designed through modularization and combined with light steel keel to form a light spar unit wall. It can be used as an independent unit or pre-installed as an integrated wall, flexibly applied to be prefabricated building systems, solving the pain points of industrialization of opaque building exterior walls, making traditional walls simpler and rougher.
